28 06 2009I did a little research on that animation contest reality TV show idea, wondering if there is such a show/contest exists. During the time I was browsing I stumble on
| Coldhardflash’s blog post on the animation contest 7200 frames held by a Hollywood-based studio called Titmouse.From what I read, Titmouse is looking for artists with an idea for animated short film. The chosen artist and film will be fully funded to finish the film. The cool part of this is that the 4-6 week production will be captured on film as part of an upcoming documentary series that the studio is developing. It was close to the idea I was thinking. This is more of a documentary of how the animated film will be done. But my idea is more of a game contest similar to The Apprentice or Top Chef, where the project is given to you right there & then and you would have to compete with other artist. But still, this is not a bad concept. I’ll give the studio and their project full credit for this! I hope it does well and they air on TV. I would like to watch it, sounds very interesting. Can’t wait with what the competing artists comes up with. Go check it out!
